18 months : Genting-Raya getaway and sick!

Daddy wanted to go Cameron Highlands for the long weekend but Mommy was lazy and suggested only Genting, which is so much nearer.
We ended up staying at ChinSwee temple, double bed room. Okla, not bad for that price. (RM110 for peak season and RM50 for off-peak).

Before that, Daddy thought it would be nice to bring Chloe to Bkt Tinggi and she could play with the rabbits, and I the mommy actually have been thinking and picture in my mind that Chloe would be running around the garden chasing after the rabbits. BUT, we were both WRONG!!!
Chloe is afraid of them!!!!! She cling to us all the time and does not want to get down the ground. :(

So to Genting we went and it was then Chloe got sick more after the walk at 1st World. Well, we know she is already have swollen tonsils (again) and would expect fever to strike. So the day before, I brought her to Dr Cheng and prepared all the medicines and not forgetting the very helpful ones which is inserted in the anus to reduce fever. (forgot the name). Daddy is not keen to give that, but i had to convince him for it. Otherwise I will have sleepless nite. Chloe was cranky also, as usual she was all stuck to the bed, refuse to eat and restless. With the cold weather I don't know it actually help or worse. :P But anyway, this round, it was MUCH better than the Aug fever she had. :)

When we return on Saturday, she has recovered much better. :)

And yes, since then, I don't know for some reason her appetite returns and she is taking her usual meals again - the PORRIDGE!!!!
hahaha, yes, when she was 17.5months she refuses Auntie's porridge and auntie had to cook various to suit her. And now during the sick period, auntie return to porridge like anyone would and she took and from then on, she's on porridge again.
I don't know if I should be happy that the fact she is taking her meals back, but it is now again, the porridge.

I prefer her to start taking rice - soft rice. Otherwise she will be soon too lazy to chew on rice.
I already started to notice that. If i give her our normal rice, she will have just a few spoonful, chew for a long time, food stay in the mouth for a long time. If porridge, she just swallow!!!!
I do make her soft rice, quite the same, just a few spoonful. :(
