10th month 4th week

Oh dear, oh dear........... this mommy is definitely getting lazy in writing nowadays.
There's so much on-going with Chloe and I'm not writing it down. :(

For the past 9 months and 10 months, Chloe developed into an individual with her own personality. She's impatience definitely and likes attention. I think most babies are the same this way, but there's something on her own character, I don't really know how to describe, perhaps it's not obvious yet.

Her upper teeth came out first the left side, and the right came as well and they are equal length. :) but there's a gap in between though. hehe.
The 5th and 6th teeth came when she was at her beginning of 10th month. It was quite fast for this two. Well, as usual, cranky, but did not cry a lot.
Anyways she has been shouting and screaming plus screaching her voice up high and you can hear that she has sore voice now.

At that beginning of 10th month, she had frequent loose stool and her Paed actually said she had food poisioning. Oh well, if so she did, the only culprit would be her fingers. But then again, is it really food poisoning ?
So due to this, we put Chloe on Isomil (soy milk) for a while. I was clever, bought 400g x 2 cans, thinking that she can fast finish up, but when we first make for her, 100% soy, she ignored totally. And boy, the soy smell is very strong, even myself dislike it.
So, no choice we went on mixing 50:50 mamex 2 with isomil. This went on for 1 week, and I thought she can return to 100% mamex 2 on the 7th day. But as soon as converted, her auntie told me that very same day, she has 3-4timex loose stool. So, well, we continue the mixing till the end of the 2nd isomil can finished and returned to 100% mamex 2 after 2weeks plus. And she is alright after that.
She was teething then also, so is it really food poisoning ?

Now, she crawls on her fours, very fast too!
It was a bit slower when she started - 9months plus. I practice her nightly in the living.
After mastering the crawl, she's now grabbing on furnitures and stand up tall.
And guess what, due to this, she fell on her head 3x so far. And everytime, daddy is there watching her........ sigh.

Her first christmas tree was at Sunway Pyramid. That is the only time i describe Xmas tree to her, in early December. And the 2nd time we hit the mall, I mention Xmas tree and she will search for one. Smart little baby. :)
She loves the ornaments hanging on the tree, especially the round balls and those that reflects her image.

For her first Xmas celebration, Sister Koon, Cheng, and Mom came down to KL. I have a small little celebration for the kids by ordering cupcakes with Xmas theme design. The kids love the cakes but for Chloe, it was nothing really new. She look at the cakes almost daily at her aunties house. :) Anyway, the real xmas celebration is going to be tonight. I have prepared xmas socks, depositing prezzies inside, and thanks to Hin - her uncle for a jar of bb food - Gerber fruit puree.

I have started to baby sign with Chloe at this time - 9months, but she is not following and till now she has yet to show me back one sign. I have been teaching her Milk, sleep, eat (mommom), and change. However, she never does them. For her milk, she cries, if not she will point to her bottle if she sees one. the rest of it is screaming.

At 10mths 4th week, I brought her to HoPeiYee's wedding dinner. Both daddy and I were worried that she will not be cooperating, and will give us difficult times over dinner, but hey! she was an angel the whole night thru! But of course, there's just a little of crankiness..... but it's all solved when i offer her food, cookies and drinks.

I'm going to explore more food for her. The next would be Cheese which she has tasted some 2-3weeks back.

I'm planning her 1st birthday. Thinking of a big one and now going into just families.....
More updates later...... it's been bz days, am not sure why.............. sigh.

9months - upper jaw teething

We noticed that Chloe has been fussy and cranky since 8.5months.
Her BBS claims she poo-ed a lot. 3 times a day, and even cut down her apple juice intake.
And now, we noticed that her upper jaw is swollen!!!!
And yesterday 2Nov, I felt a rough surface.... the right front teeth is coming out!!!!!
but wondering why, isn't 2 supposed to be out at the same time ?

1st swimming experience at 8 month old

Going into 9th month

Time flies, my girl is going to be 9 months!!!!!!
Just imagine Chloe was 9 months in my tummy and now she is out in the world for another 9 months!

For 8th months, hmmm, mommy has been pretty lazy to update the blog, but this is what Chloe has done so far......

1) She can rolled up to sit on her own. Achieved this 8mths 2weeks.
2) She can hold her crib and stood up on her own. Achieved this 8mths 3weeks.
3) Could crawl around, but the whole body is on the floor.
4) Try holding herself on her fours, but not stable, only rocking. :)
5) Had variety of porridge, and puree. Yet to taste meat as in MEAT itself, but have taken fishes.
6) Called mommom, papppaaa....... it's more like she ask for food and mumbling with her lips.....
7) Getting cranky again 8months 3 weeks, all of us is thinking she's teething again.
8) Back to poo 2-3 times a day.
9) Don't have to swing to sleep at night already, definitely dislike too, but at times, will need some help when she can't doze off with a bottle of milk or patting.
10) Went for her first swimming. Likes it and kicks around. However if there's other ppl in the pool, she starts observing rather than doing her own activities.

11) While we eat, and if she's on highchair, she must also eat. :P so I give her biscuit - rice cracker.
12) Impatient definitely. Got herself wet with porridge one time as she grab the bowl. (mommy left the bowl on table, half feet from table edge, and Chloe was on her hi chair with a tray sommore).
13) 1st time developing nappy rash at 8months 4 week.

All on 7th months

Less drooling, but likes to put a little finger in the mouth. But sometimes, you can notice there's saliva dropping out. hehe....

Chloe likes sitting now. When she is fussy of not wanting to lie down, just put her seated, she'll smile and play happily.

Oh yes, forgot to mention that during the Cameron Highland trip at 6.5months, she fell from the bed!!! She was turning and flipping on the bed and mommy missed to grab her. But it was slow fell, no big impact and she only cried a min or two. :)

Mommy started cooking a variety of porridge for Chloe and so is Auntie. There's also a serving of snack daily - baby rusk. Fresh Apple juice are served daily too, unless mommy is lazy during the weekend or turn the apple into a steamed pureed apple.

Chloe started to support herself on her fours : two knees and two hands. She's still learning now, at end of 7th month. And definitely for now, we will leave her on her baby seat when we have our meals outside.

Swimming ????

Daddy got Chloe a swimming suit for babies.... RM24 from BBMax. 7.5months now, can she go into the water ??? People says it's ready, but with all the H1N1 and influenza, safe ?

Moving into 7th months - Fussy Baby!

I'm now 7 Month!!!! I'm the Princess!!!!

Fussy and need to be pleased.... that's it for 7th month.

Chloe started to learn taste. She likes her instant cereal for sure, that's sweet. I gave her my very self own cook porridge which was brown rice+white rice+potato+carrot+meat, she refused to eat, moved away, lip tight and even cry.
The next day, I changed to whiterice+carrot+tomato+meat, she takes, 10-15spoon..... well, at least. sigh........

Whichever things that she sees and interested with, you can't move that out of her sight. She will cry!!!! When she holds them, forget about getting them back.

Like this bottle, she wants to drink, you can't take that away!

Even her flash card. The english and maths set. She's obsessed with it if she pays attention. And I have to keep repeating it!!!! hahahaaa

On her physical development side, she is able to sit fully on her own but can't yet to get up to sitting position herself.
Nowadays, she is trying to crawl on the knee, trying to get on her knee, but still.... no energy to support her own body weight.
but definitely good at turning around, twisting and flipping!!!

Chloe 6th month achievements

I missed out posting for the entire 6 months. :( I'll try to catch up here. Perhaps just photos. :)

The entire 6mths, Chloe grew up fast, the most significant is cutting teeth. I first observe this on Aug11, when i saw 'black holes' on the lower gum. I tried touching and i felt rough surface. few days later, the white spots appear. :)

Let me recall the rest :
1) Started fresh apple juice for Chloe
2) Chloe holds her chutchut on the soft nipple and bite on the hard part instead.
3) We went up Cameron Highlands for 2days1Night.
4) We went up to Genting Highlands for AhMa's birthday
5) Ah Ma was here for concert night and Chloe celebrated AhMa's birthday on the exact date!!!
6) Chloe starts to dislike ppl carry her to sleep, she prefer either upright at the shoulder, if not then on the bed.
7) Able to sit on her own towards the end of 6th months. But if get excited may fall back.
8) Likes to hold her two feet, and as day passed, she will hold more of her right feet with her right hand. She will even search for her right feet during midnight feeding time.
9) Likes to hold her head up than lying down on her car seat during car ride.
10) Able to push up for a long period and higher than previous.

Chloe learns this slowly from Mid 5th month and at the end of 5th month, she is doing it quite well. :)

Else, her hair nowadays is nice looking.... came down already... no more standing. :)

Week 24 - 5.5mths in Penang

Chloe and us made a trip back to Penang visiting families on July 11 till July 14. It was fun, especially when this lil' one knows and start gazing around.
She not lying on her car seat, that's the first time she wanted to get up and sit upright. See photo above.

Good Food at Bagan Lallang

This trip was really fun. We went up to BalikPulau to savour some good durians, went to KokLokSi and had one round of good lunch sponsored by my eldest brother... somewhere at Bagan Lallang.

5 months - 2 weeks

Difficult to go to sleep at night.....
Happily wanna play, but actual case is sleepy and tired.

See this video which was taped almost midnight. She is giggling with mommy, but see carefully, her mouth turns flat sometimes, and there are tears in her eyes.

5month - overly excited....

Turning 5 month

Chloe turns 5 month this week. :)
It's so pleasant to see her growing day by day, learning new things everyday.

As a start for this 5th month, we changed her infant car seat to this bigger one. This was changed actually 2weeks ago.
We also completed the infant massage classes. It was actually only a 4 classes which supposed to end in a month, but ours took longer due to schedule clash. Anyway, Chloe enjoys massaging. :)

For a start for this fresh new month, we got her several new stuff.
Bumbo seat - for her to seat upright.
Musical drum - just for the fun of it
Baby sling - haha... this one is more for the mommy. :) but it's great to wear Chloe/baby while we still can!

Mommy enjoy this very much! It's so nice to have bb close and 'attached' again like during preggie.... no need to 'carry by hand'. :)
And finally, a new bandana for her accessories collection. PekYue calls this retro style. :P

Coo-ing

These nights, she doesn't cry her heads-off when she wants milk.
She coos, louder and louder.
If we don't get her milk on time, then that coo-ing will turn into a cry.

Last night notice her right ear loop kinda like 'changed'. Seems to have developing bigger ear loop.

Week 21 - one more book for Chloe

Got her a new soft book - after searching high and low!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Finally got this from Subang Parade Flea Market. RM45 - ok la, got some stuff inside..... not just plain look and see type.

This book will be with her at auntie's house. Hopefully she'll 'read' it la... :)

Cries a lot now

Chloe cries a lot these days.
Wonder is it because teething or she is uncomfortable due to something else.
Cries at night particularly...... so, not enough sleep during the day ? Hungry ? colic ?
sigh........

Little Grabber - week 20

This little grabber, is working feverishly at improving her grasp by latching onto anything and everything that she can get her little hands around.
Chloe will want to touch, hold, turn, shake, and put in her mouth everything within her reach.
And when she got hold of it, we can't disturb her. Same goes to if she can't reach for the item, she will SCREAM. :P
