Loves flipping, but cries too.....
Month 4 - actively learning flipping..... but she'll cry too when she's on tummy.
Flipping.... all the time
This girl flips almost everytime we leave her on mattress now.
Once she flips over, and find herself turtle, can't move, she make noise.
We put her back on her back, she'll flip again........ hahaha
This morning, she woke up 530am and keep flipping!!!!!!!!!

Week 17 - multiple characters... :)
Last nite we went out for supper. Chloe is so excited in the restaurant. :)

Nowadays when we bring milk bottles near her, her two legs will be kicking non stop and her eye target at the bottle. :) When the milk bottle moves closer to her, her mouth will get ready to receive the teat. :P She can even hold her bottles now. Just not enough energy to bring the bottle up!!!!
Look at these videos... how she communicates with her new toy - Lion.
And this shows she is able to recognise her toys and lift her head around to look for it. :)

Week 16 - Flipping
Hey.... Chloe turn to right today while sleeping, and when she woke up, she was almost on her tummy, and right hand under her chest. Very soon after that, she moves her right hand out. :)
I first see her practicing this skill on 23Apr, when she still could not lift her right hand away from her chest.

Week14 - In Penang with AhMah
Chloe and I had a great time in my mom's place for 10days!!!
In this 14th week (also some from week 13), Chloe developed few other skills... though it's minor....
1) Able to touch things that's put at near to her eye view level
2) Able to hold her bottles for few seconds (claimed by her daddy)
3) Knows how to play with her toys which are put in front of her, she holds them now.
4) Able to hold her head up higher this time when put on her belly
5) Kinda hold her arms tightly at our arms when we carry her upright at shoulder
6) If we blow her with our mouth to her face, you can see she's responding with a similar action, but ends up bubbly lips. :)
She is a bubble blower since 2.5months old. :)
7) Putting her two little hands together and look at them
In this whole week, every night she did not fail to wake up twice every night!!!! I remember in Crimson she was better.... or was it because I took care of her alone at night without daddy... ?
Mom helped me to bring Chloe to bed sometimes and her style is put on the pacifier to Chloe, turn her to one side and put a bolster to her. Chloe response pretty well to that and fall asleep easily. But that can be incidental... which I find it so.... as in KL, she cannot doze of as such. But one thing for sure, I think she got addicted to pacifier even more now...... :p
Mom, sis and SIL played with her and she did not (yet) show preference to anyone. I hope not....
But there was one night, we brought her to my aunt's house and she showed she disliked. She cried after a while looking around the surrounding. We thought maybe she was tired. But after that we went to my sis's house, which she went before... she was alright. haha....
Beginning of this week too, I had started to take the Dostinex for stopping milk production completely... sad. :( ... it was getting lesser so taking this to stop it completely.

Confinement month with Chloe
My confinement month wasn't a good one, as I know some others outside will have a full time confinement lady or Mother In Law who would do ALL the work.
My CL was only for cooking and bathing baby. However I got her SACKED after almost 2 weeks of hiring her. She got on my nerve too often and not hygienic too.
Back to Chloe... She was hospitalized again on the 5th day when my whole family agreed that she still has high level of Jaundice. Spending two days in hospital under the UV light. My heart was in pain seeing her under the light, cloth-less with just a piece of diaper. I continue supplying expressed breast milk to hospital, however due to the low supply in the early days, she has to topped up with Formula.
Even after two days, her Bilirudin level was still high. However her Paed advised to get discharged. We followed. Back home, I almost gone crazy daily looking at her yellow skin - because when i feed her, i would be sitting under fluorescent light. Chloe continued her check up in hospitals weekly and each time, a blood sample is taken from her little hand. OUCH!!!! How painful that could have been for her....
MIL would take her out in the mornings and put her to sun bath. However all this didn't help.
On my side, I quitted taking ginger, wine and all those that are related. And still, no help.
After that I just let it naturally go away. It seemed that nothing could help. I was only worried that she has to go one a blood transfusion.
Slowly, beginning of 4th week, I could see her yellow skin turning normal. And true enough, her level drop after the full moon. :)
During this first month, I breastfed Chloe and with formula as well. Most of the time it was expressed breastmilk rather than direct feeding because her Paed always asked me, how much is she drinking ? Also, I was asked to monitor on that to make sure she pee and poo to make her jaundice level drop. Me, as a new mom, afraid that direct feeding doesn't give her enough and can't make her pee and poo enough. :p So, i pumped. HOwever there were 2-3 direct feed in on day of course, to save both mommy and bb some bonding time. :)
The hard part is, Chloe feeds on every 2 hours, SHARP!!!! She has an alarm in her. hahaha....
During then, Daddy really had a hard time coping. I don't know if I should pity him, but if yes.... what about myself ? :P
Oh yes, and why my Confinement month was 'bad' ? Well, not really but I would say I was the one wanted it this way - myself taking care of bb.
MIL helped to cook and bathed Chloe. All the rest of Baby, I did.
So, I did not have full time lying on the bed and I even got my hands wet for washing bottles.
But it didn't matter, all these......... for my Chloe. :)
